Latin name: Betta Splenden (Splendid warrior). Malay name: Ikan pelaga (Warrior fish). Or more commonly known, Siamese Fighting Fish.

But absolute babies once you own one *grin*. And addictive, so you end up buying one more, and another one, and of course another one wouldn't hurt... and suddenly you find your whole room is a huge aquarium and people are offering you $5 to take a look around.
